which value is greater,10,000 centimeters of 1 kilometer? explain ur answer..not sure.

100 cm = 1m
1000 m = 1 Km = 1000*100 cm =100000cm
that means 1 Km is larger than 10000cm

1 km= 1000 meter= 1000 x 100 cm= 100000 cm

1 kilometer is greater since 1 kilometer = 100,000 cm

10,000 cm = 0.1 km

Going back to definitions, 1km = 1000 m, 1 m = 100 cm.
Therefore 1km = 100,000 cm = 10*10,000 cm
