I agree with wwjdcassie, athletic describes the physicality of the person, not the personality. Just like words like pretty, smart, short or rich describe the person, but not the personality. Personality words would include outgoing, shy, modest, obnoxious, arrogant, etc. Personally I wouldn't want my personality to be compared to that of a running shoe or a football jersey.

ATHLETIC is a personality word because ATHLETIC itself is an adjective word which synonymously mean VIGOROUS and ACTIVE.
And vigorous and active tells about the personality of the person.

no, I think athletic is more of a physical adjective word.

yes becuz it describes u or another person wat they do like out going not all people r out going and not all are athletic
