Some of you say it was Bush's first week in office. So.....does that mean he shouldn't have read anything pertaining to national security in the 8 months that followed that first week?

That would explain a lot, actually. Thanks for the insight into Bush's mind!

Was that the one that told them that there would be an attack by 21 terrorists that commandeered 4 passenger jets and intended to crash one of them into the pentagon, one into the white house and 2 into the world trade center towers? Did it give the date it was to happen? Maybe it was one of many reports warning of different things that only are a possibility and nothing more concrete than that? I just don't see how anyone could have overlooked something this informative, do you?

Why didn't Billy Boy take him prisoner, when he was in his grasp?
Because the different , law enforcement agency's did not work together, at that time! Bush is making sure they do now!
Bush had not been in office that long and did not know half of what was going on , yet?
And why is Bush always blamed, As I see it , this was a lot of people's fault!Mostly the terrorists!

That just goes to tell you the Republican mentality. I guess the Bushes and friends think the citizens are so stupid they can't remember anything.

Stupidity, carelessness, underestimating the threat. It was their first week in office, you know.
Why did the Clinton Administration refuse Sudan's offer to extradite him to the US?
