They know they can run their own nation but they know it will be one like the last. They want their government there to protect their economic interests in that area and support a free trade environment.

That's 'our help.'
What fantasy world are you living in?
The Iraqis are stupid and can't run their own country.
The Iraqis, like all the other Arabs, only know how to run things into the ground and f**k s**t up.
You've never been to lower Manhattan, have you?

Do you understand why we are there? We are providing security. The Iraqi's are happy we are there. They are and have been running their own country for quite awhile. Perhaps you will recall those two elections. They are now in complete control of their own security forces too. Please do your homework.

This administration has no intention of pulling out. We will remain in Iraq with a standing army disguised as a peace keeping force.

For real. People can't seem to put themselves there. REGARDLESS of if its good or bad, those people have been living with daily terrorist acts for almost 5 years. We haven't seen battle on our soil for MANY years, much less a five year steady blow.
AND its not like Iraq asked the US to intervene, they took it upon themselves. Why should they be grateful...honestly.

Like Matt Damon said in Sahara . . ."A hundred years ago you people were out in the desert cutting each others heads off and the world thinks that's where you'll be back in another hundred years."
They are silly dumb people, check my profile out and compare the charts in my question about the coincidence of the high levels of illiteracy in Islamic nations.

I think those shades are hazing up your view a bit. If we pulled out NOW, we'd be looking at another Taliban-run Afghanistan in the coming years.

This question indicates that the asker is too quick to cut and run, too quick to speak before he thinks and too stupid to realize any of the above.
