Some people post questions and when people with high points answer first and correctly they dont give them the points. They skip over them. Is this jealousy? or just plain childish?
If you ask a question and exspect good answer do the right thing .
Maybe thats why this forum has so many people answering with stupid answers.

Excellent question...and I think I'm certainly qualified to respond to it. I've been passed over a few dozen times with answers after mine giving basically the same answer (since I like to deal with facts, as opposed to opinions).
There were several times when I first came on here, that I questioned why I was passed up, but never got a reasonable response...so their motives are still a mystery to me. I was even rewarded a "best answer" a couple days ago, and the asker stated she swore she'd never contribute to my "reign of terror" in the music category, but since I had the first correct answer, she felt it was only fair. Reign of Terror??
I'm just here cause I love the category, and in the process, I've made a few good friends. Those with the negative comments and threads, have bigger issues of their own to work out first.

I am not sure why people rate the answers the way they do but you sure see enough answers that look as though the person responding is just looking for the points.
I do share your frustration.

where's the connection between
1) someone with high points not having "her" answer chosen as "best"
and
2) someone giving a stupid answer on purpose?
