What is the tie between the 51 year old man and the school?
Was this a random crime or was he going after someone in particular?
I am a Junior in college, so I've not been able to follow the evening news due to studying and such. Any information would be appreciated.

I have heard he was sexually assaulting the girls and even spoke with a few students as he entered the building prior to entering the classroom where he took hostages. He was even wearing a school sweatshirt.
One boy said after he got in the room he asked if people wanted to stay or go - lined them up at the chalkboard and told them which could leave, keeping only the six girls.
