Well, from my point of view, they should be signed and making millions. Check them out. They all have myspaces or other web pages that feature their music.

In general, no. Although a lot of mainstream music - like your examples - is really bad, a lot of it is really stellar too, if you look hard enough. Some club artists are really good (and often go on to be "big timers".) But online songwriters are often just idiots who found an easy way to publish their crap tunes. (Not all of them; some of them are good.)
