I mean, with Casey Desmond, Codie Prevost, and Johanna Sthaley, singers like Rihanna and Justin Timberlake shouldn't even be in the buisness. Let me guess. You haven't heard of any of these people? Well, from my point of view, they should be signed and making millions. Check them out. They all have myspaces or other web pages that feature their music.

Check out my 360 page I discovered a band the other day called The Owl Motel can't find any other info about them except these videos from YouTube pretty good stuff too.

In general, no. Although a lot of mainstream music - like your examples - is really bad, a lot of it is really stellar too, if you look hard enough. Some club artists are really good (and often go on to be "big timers".) But online songwriters are often just idiots who found an easy way to publish their crap tunes. (Not all of them; some of them are good.)
