I don't mind it when it is used to describe something or someone as fitting a gay stereotype. Ex.: The way he's dancing is so gay. I do get offended when people use it as a synonym for dumb or uncool. Ex.: You have to visit your grandmother? That's so gay. I just don't like gay being used as a general negative for every situation.

Ummm, as a general rule, no. I just pass it off as slang, because I know I'm not really stupid (which is what it is often used to represent). When I'm tired or grouchy, then I get offended by it pretty easily. The thing is, why should a part of my personality be used synonymously with something stupid or wrong? It would be like saying "That's sooooo straight!" lol. It's all pretty silly, really.

well i like a little of both but my big sis is gay and when i say that is so gay she always laughs at me because then i cover my mouth and say sorry and i don't think she finds it offensive at all.
