Only for like the first two episodes. The first season was so lame that not many people even noticed.

Yeah, the pilot was on the other day and the guy playing his father was different. I don't know how many other episodes he was in (another answer mentioned two), but producers often make cast changes between the pilot and when the show is ordered for a full season, so I would be surprised if he was in more than the pilot.

Phil Bruns appeared in one episode but Barney Martin took over after that. He died this year

in the first few episodes there was a different actor playing him, but not very long.
