metallica may be a favorite of many people, but they are SELL OUTS. theyre music is horrible. lars frederickson is a baby. slayer is a lot more respected band. metallica is respected by people who dont know any music other than what they hear on the radio.

Metallica never sold out! everyone of there alblums have been different, they were just smart enough to shorten the songs down from 8 min. tracks to 4 minutes so the songs can get air time....that's smart business ethics.

Not one or the other. It's the same three power chords in each song Branch out to better groups.
Plus Metallica has come out in public as being so money and power hungry they have lost the ideals of being a true group of musicians.

Hmmm..thats a hard one....I love that song Orion but i love Seasons of the Abyss also. id have to say Metallica but they have been so played out.
