I think that most people (even if they're really afraid of mice) will have to go with the bats, and only because they are near your face. Think about it, you can see your feet, but you can't see the back of your head. Also, people just tend to be more protective over their faces because of how vulnerable they are and stuff. Keeping all that in mind, bats, definitely.

Mice are quite nice, I used to have some as pets. Bats can get tangled in the hair and then bite to get their way out. So, since I am tender headed, I pick the bats.
