The subject should be relevant, and accessible facts and info should be a consideration.
My recent readings and surfings took me to miniature earth.com and If the world were a village of 1000..plus if the world were a village..of 100. It is an interesting presentation and a concise case study..Like to see it as if the world was my neighbourhood, or if paradise was my backyard etc.

That is a broad question. You have to do it on something that interests you. Is it art, education, music, psychology?
My Master's thesis was a comparative case study on new immigrants in public elementary schools.
And that subject interested me, so it was easier to keep going.
If you are not interested in the topic, there is no way that your readers will be either.
