everyone major such a hype about it. is there something im missing about it?

A large part of her crew of 1177 men went down with her because she was sunk so quickly. Up until this point, the US Navy still believed that battleships like the Arizona would lead the way in battle. Airstrikes were still not believed to be major threats to these heavily armored ships. The attack on Pearl Harbor and the rapid sinking of the Arizona opened the US Navy's eyes to air power's potential.

It was the Arizona ship that was the worse hit.
I went to the pearl harbour museum in Hawaii and it was very educational and interesting.The Arizona ship is still uunderwater and leaking gas to this day. If you ever go to Oahu go there. Also rent the Pearl Harbour movie. Its long but good.

I am pretty sure it was recently remodeled or retrofitted. It had not seen any service since the update, then sunk in the attack. It also suffered the greatest number of casualties, for any of the ships.

There is shrine in Cave Creek AZ, at the veterans cemetery. They have some artifacts there.
