Are there any cheats available that allow you to chose the gender of a pregnant Sim's baby?

I play the Sims 2. There are no cheats to choose the gender.
What you can do is when you are on day 3 of the pregnancy and getting to birthing time, then SAVE your game. When the baby happens, if it is the wrong gender for you, then exit the game without saving and play it like "Groundhog day" over and over til you get the gender you want.
This does not work for all sims. For example, some of the sims that come with the game are programmed to have males no matter what you do. If it is a sim you made that is pregnant, then you have more control over the matter.
The alternative way to do it, if you saved the game and would like to change the sex, name and other details of any sim, is to download SimPE and learn to use it. SimPE is not made by EA but can be downloaded for free. http://sims.ambertation.de/

You can't choose the gender. There are no cheats available for it. The best thing you can do is save the game right before the mom is to give birth and keep reloading it until you get the gender you want. Note that for Brandi Broke you can't change the gender of her baby. She's preprogrammed to have a boy.

If the pregnant sim keeps eating spaghetti it increases her chance of having a boy

Look under yahoo PC cheats for the sims and there will probablly be one.

Don't Cheat, that takes all of the fun out of a game.

dont cheat, its fun for a while but if you take the cheats off u notice that its really more challenging and thats what makes it fun
