I shave my chest every 3-4 weeks. Been doing that for a long time. Hate too much hair. And of course, I work out.

Being straight has nothing to do with it........ Either do it or dont. It's all up to you. If your on a swim team they expect you to shave your chest, to swim faster. Plus some Body builders also shave there chest. When you have surgery you may need to shave your chest. There are many reasons to shave your chest and there are many reasons not too. I like a man with a hair on his chest personally.

Every male should shave his chest. Hair doesn't grow on playgrounds.

Well, it does indeed seem "gay" for a guy to shave his chest or legs, but, is that really a problem for you? I don't pay too much attention to labels.

I would say no because it is just gonna come back as stubble and that's even worse than just having chest hair.

should he?

i cant really think of any reason that a person "should". i guess if he wants to, he can. unless he needs to for some medical reason or something, leave it alone.

my chest hair isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

bellina is right. being gay or straight doesnt make shaving chest hair sound odd. unless youre as hairy as balls, i say leave it alone.
