My US History teacher always used to say that a good amount of Democrats and Republicans in the House of Reps and Senate is a good thing. Otherwise if you have too many of one then they think that they can control everything. This keeps each side in check. Do you agree? Seems like people ONLY want their party in office.

I totally agree, anytime you have a minority government it means that all the sides have to agree or nothing gets done. that means that you don't have parties unilaterally going to war with foreign dictators unchecked.

Yes I agree since if they're voting for like a member to join or something that's democrat if they're are more democrats he's most likely already in

having a balanced government is a great idea, too bad it only happens in fairy tales. We the people are supposed to be the government, but we all know we are governed not by the people we voted into the offices, but by those with the fattest wallets.
