Wax is good, but then again you can always accept things the way they are. There are many women with this hormone thing that causes their facial hair to grow. I have known a couple and they just accepted it. It makes you unique. Though you probably don't want this answer.

Shaving isn't making it grow back thicker, it just cuts it at the middle of the follicle shaft, so it looks thicker, and yes, it can seem like it grows back fast.
If you don't want to continue shaving, try a facial depilatory or facial bleach.
If you're brave, get a home waxing kit (Walgreens has some in a purple package that isn't terribly messy, I use it on my eyebrows).
If you're brave and have some money, buy an epilator. It's a terrifying rotating set of tweezing discs that rips the hair out by the roots ($60ish dollars)
If you're brave and willing to make a continuing investment, go to a salon for threading or waxing once a month.
If you're brave and have more money, get laser hair treatment or electrolisis.

Shaving does NOT make it thicker. It makes you have stubble which is hard instead of soft so it seems thicker. If this is a problem for you I would recommend laser removal for a permanent solution. I have this problem due to an endochrine system disorder. Have you been tested for anything? If not, do you have other symptoms like obesity, skin tags, thinning scalp hair, acne...there are alot of things that excessive facial can be associated with. Good Luck! Hope I've helped!

Shaving will make it thicker. If you have this kind of a problem I would look into electrolysis. After some 3-4 sessions they may be able to get rid of this.

I think you should keep shaving or waxing. That's just normal for it to grow thicker and blacker. You could try shaving with this shaving oil though because I absolutely love it!

i'll shave my upper lip sometimes, but i have not had a problem with it growing back thicker. have you tried waxing? i get my eyebrows done proffessionally (usually around $8) and it only takes a minute of pain a month. you could even try doing it yourself. i like sally hensen no heat wax strips.

Never shave- pluck- tweeze- or cut
Now you are going to have to spend some serious money on laser to get rid of it.
If you do any thing on a budget it should be depilatory, bleach or wax.

try waxing strips or hair removal creams. they get rid of hair at the root, making the regrowth finer and less noticable. you could try either Sally Hansen or Nair.

wax works good, and the hair takes longer to grow back.
