It happened yesterday (9-27-06). I read in the newspaper that one of the students at the school text-messaged his dad at around 11:35am mountain time to let his dad know what was happening. It ended at just after 4:30pm.
Besides the senseless death of that young girl, there were pretty horrible things on the news today about it. I just don't know what the world is coming to. That it happened at this school is especially sad, because the school is only about 40 miles from Littleton, CO. The Columbine shootings were bad enough - now you have this horrible event at another school only 40 miles away.
It's just so senseless and tragic...
