I have found a georgous oversized purse, but it's a bone/cream color. I know white is headed out, and dark colors are back for fall, but could I pull off a light colored purse for just one more season? I am interested in hearing fashion based opinions, and not "do what you want, who cares about everyone else" opinions. Ultimately, I will do what I want, but right now I would like to know what the hip "late twenties-early thirties" crowd thinks. :) Thanks!

I don't know if it matters, but it's a YSL bag - simply georgous!

Okay, late twenties crowd here! As I have siad in another fashion question, yes it is great to follow SOME fashion trends per season, but honestly, I would so much prefer to see a woman walking down the street wearing something that was last season, but looked absolutley stunning on her (be htis a garment or accessory) than someone has just bought something so "this season" simply for that fact that is it "in". If you love, WORK IT!!! Someone original & stylish is much more interesting than someone who sheepishly follows trends with no ability to be creative themselves!!!! Have fun looking fab with the bag!!!

Cream Colored Purse

Well, I am not in what you call the "hip late twenties early thirties" crowd, but I do know that bone is not considered white and is perfectly acceptable. Some of the fall colors go fantastically with bone or cream colored shoes or boots and purses, and you could tie them even more together with a great scarf or jewelry in patterns or styles using a mixture of colors that match both purse and outfit. Go for it, and enjoy your find. (And if I don't fit in your criteria, just ignore my advice!)

i actually think a woman who walks out wearing all white and looks clean and polished during winter is gorgeous cause most people are in fall colors.

Trust me the days of no white after labor day ( which passed 20 sum days ago ) is over just watch your fabric- i think it could be very classy _

Yes I think you can pull it off just fine :) Just make sure that you also match it up with some new dark colored outfits. Maybe a cream belt to match the bag :)
