grinnel college puzzle?

i heard that a Grinnel College student is missing; then there was something about a suicide note..anyone with more info?

I find it weird that no more info has been available since 9/27
my mom lives there and she says nothing new. I would like to know what the parents of this kid have to say and maybe the roommate or some aquaintences of his . kind of strangehe seems to have just vanished i know the area is vast and withall the equipment they are using why no leads yet??
