This is for language research. We need a list of noun pairs which have meaning by themselves but mean something else together. Other examples could be traffic light, diamond ring, tree house. It seems easy but it's kinda tricky. Have fun!!

I don't know. It would seem you were looking for combinations that mean something totally different from the individual words, but in each pair, one of the words is close to the full meaning. Perhaps:

magazine clip

web page
