It would be much better if people were like cats, and ovulation was stimulated by intercourse. No sex, no menstruation.
Also, if we couldn't have it that way, it would be nice if we could choose when we wanted to expel menses (sorry to be graphic), like we can choose when we want to pee.

you could go on that birth control pill that makes your period so much less horrid, although I tried it and was a emotional mess....
On the bright side, they say the cycling of iron in woman might be why we live longer then men. So think of it this way, every month you bleed for like a week, you are adding like a day or two onto your life, and those days are period free due to menopause! :) YAY for menopause!

I agree completely. I wish that we could chose how we pee. I want my periods to be 2-3 days. Don't get me wrong I love my birth control, but it makes my periods twice as long.

I totally agree, we have like 13 weeks every year when we aren't feeling our best and when we experience moods and cramps. Each time I get my period I hate it. I hate having blood pour out of me for like 5 days in a row. I hate wearing pads etc.

you can't choose when you want to pee only wait a little longer to. and ask yourself this "why isn't a period worse?" when you answer this question you will have answered your own question too.
