Now, could you please list those central doctrines for us, and perhaps an example or two that support your assertion? My understanding of fascism is that it is a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
The United States has democratically elected leaders, an active and vocal opposition, a strong belief in individual rights, and expansive economic and social freedom.

You mean why are some of the citizens still backing a corrupt and failed president. The repuglicans are the more mentally diminished of the population and veiw Bush as a god. Rush Limbaugh told them that in their trailer parks.
