Most reptiles like to find a quite hiding spot after eating a full meal. They become slower while digesting.

They do. They slow down from their big meal, so they go hide so they don't feel as vulnerable. They also need a hide over the warm side of their tank to bring up their body temperature for digestion. You shouldn't handle a corn snake for 48 hours after it's eaten.

I have 3 corns and they do all tend to go under their logs to hide after eating.
