I work at Lush and it's one of the first things we are taught when we go to training - the eyes were never designed to have mascara and eyeliner painted all over them. But it's ok as long as you use a nice, gentle cleanser (look at me going into sales mode) on a night before you go to bed.

You might get away with it for a while but eventually it will take its tole on your skin, and eyes - be it with a sty which is annoying but not too painful, to conjunctivitis (sorry about the spelling) which is very much more serious and a lot more painful.

Is being too lazy to cleanse on a night really worth it if you have to walk around with a red swollen eye for weeks? :)

No it will not make you blind or generally give you eye problems; I've worn mine when sleeping for years. If you have allergies it can sometimes cause greater irritation of your eyes, especially if you rub them when you first get up or in your sleep. There is a very slight possibility that if an eye lash got in your eye and there were mascara clumps on it at just the right angles they may scratch your eye but give the body's natural defenses that's not likely.

If you wear contacts that you sleep in there may be some complications with the addition of eye cosmetics but I wear glasses so I'm not aware of any.

It will get into your eyes and make youre eyes red and puffy. Your eyes will probably itch too. The best thing to do is try and get most or all of the make up off your eyes. I doubt it will blind you. People say everything will make you blind.

birds could nap in the process the day on and rancid.. in many situations with their eyelids closed (assembly interior the midsection) to renounce them from drying up. considered one of my Barrabands has basically one eye.. nicely unquestionably he has 2 yet one has been injured only before us rescuing him and it extremely is mangled so he's blind, in accordance to the vet, on that eye. He sleeps with that eye open, possibly because of the fact there is not any eye left to tension approximately drying up. As he's in an outdoors aviary, i haven't considered him sleep as quickly as that's dark so i would not be attentive to :-)

I don't think so. It can't be good for your lashes because it drys them out big time. However, I seriously doubt you can go blind. But, use eye makeup remover and get rid of it just to be safe.

Well, it can't be GOOD for you. It might make you look tired and worn out in the mornings. It's best for your eyes and you skin to just wash your face every night.

No, make-up has to be tested for safeness and all that before it can be sold.

If it gets in your eyes, just wash it out with water.

It could lead to an infection, or irritate your eyes, make them sensitive to other make-up.

Almay makes a great eye make-up remover in quick easy wipes. Oil free and they work great!
