I often go to S.F. on Christmas day. It is very cold, especially at night, and often rainy. Unfortunately, Candlestick park is probably the coldest place in the city. However, San Francisco is very rarely below freezing, if that makes you feel better :)

Winter in SF is usually cool and cloudy. Normally the temp. stays around 50 degrees F. It's also usually pretty rainy that time of year. I'd definitely take a jacket with a hood or an umbrella just to be safe.

A thirty percent chance of rain. In Seattle, it rains everyday in the winter. San Francisco catches its fair share of those same systems, but it doesn't snow. It can be in the forties (45-50), or it can be around sixty or sixty-five. Usually, it's kinda pleasant, but not always.

Candlestick Point is always really windy. It won't be as cold as Green Bay or Pittsburgh (below freezing temperatures and snow)... of course. But I would certainly expect chills and possibly rain.
