im glad you pointed this out because if it werent for a black person's invention, who knows what the world may be like today. i think that we are very important to this country as a whole. every race has their ups and downs but other races mainly whites cant get past the negative crap in our community.

Unfortunately during slave times if a "black" person had any kinds of ideas it was credited to their owners. So there are allot of things that our ancestors say were invented by "black" people that we may really ever know. As far as the list above, I think that society is making a conscious effort to try and make the information available for everyone to learn. Just look at the different links you were able to put up. I try not to think about the negative cloud over the black people contribution to this country, I feel as if we need to look forward.

People along with myself try not to believe that in this age color isn't a issue, but it still is. The color of your skin will always be an issue. I think that a lot of blacks have gotten credit for the wonderful things that they have done. Will continue to get credit for the wonderful things they do. Stop light, peanut butter. Peanut Butter is the # 1 selling grocery store item ever. People are always talking about PBJ.

We dont get the credit we need because every body think we anit **** but me I dont give a damn because I know what I can put into this world and black people are the most smartest people in the world. I love who i am and other people should to so who cares? Life is too short to still be on this bull ****.

Black people invented a lot more things than people think. It's a white man's world though it's not recognized like it should be. It is not taught in schools or anywhere else.

Posture, you could find an endless list of contributions Black people have made to Society in all areas. Some people are so hateful that they are in a constant state of denial and refuse to give credit where credit is due.
