I really enjoyed the first two, but now it seems to be more hollywood than ever. I think it was great durring the previous two because they had the british version to work off of (since it was practically the same) and now they are having to make up their own material.

I hate to disagree with the later poster but the show constantly take material from the british version. Take the Jim/Pam/Roy bit for instance, or Jello mold, or whatever. Granted it wasn't a spitting image but it was most certainly influenced.

BTW This was the Second episode.

I see your point. But I don't think it was better because it was taking so much material from the British version. My favorite episode off season one was the basketball game. That had a lot of original humor in it. Also, Dwight is like the best character every. Gareth was good, but Dwight rules!

I think the third season is starting to try and be popular, instead of being funny. Hopefully this is just to attract a bigger audience, then they will return to the funny. But it's still like the best show on TV.

Disappointed? There has only been one episode in the third season. How could you tell its become more hollywood? Besides, now they have all these new characters to work with including Ed Helms who worked for years on the Daily Show where Steve Carell originally earned HIS fame. The plot line from the Brittish show was never used past thepilot episode and the whole " obnoxious boss + Tim and Dawn thing" , so no, I'm not dissapointed. The show is breaking out and being original, not "hollywood".

i think it is just as edgy as before. i work in an office environment and that show breaks all the rules of etiqette and professional appropriateness!
