Bug bombs are only dangerous if you do not read the instructions carefully! It sound like you have fleas, because feet and ankles are a favorite flea biting spot! I really recommend one bomb! Read carefully the instructions, take all food, and pets out of your room.
You can stay at a friends house for the night.
If you have a pet, consult with a vet. for the appropriate flea drops to keep the fleas from coming back in.
Also there are many Herbal deterrents. So once you clean out the fleas chemically, Don't let them back in herbaly.
