Most women ovulate approximately two weeks before their period. There is about a 2 day span during that time when a woman is most likely to get pregnant, but every woman is different and the only way to be safe is to either not have sex or use a condom and another type of birth control like the pill.

You need to know exactly when she ovulates:
The only way for you to know if you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it. Oh, and it is possible to be ovulating while you do not have your period, just like it is possible to have a period and not ovulate.
THUMBS UP FOR USING A CONDOM!!

Man you are worried about this, you already asked a similar question. If you do not want to get pregnant use a condom and make sure she is on birth control. Cycles can be unpredictable and women have been known to get pregnant at weird times, so if you don't want a baby use protection.

Probably never. Men and women are always fertile unless they have some condition where they don't produce enough eggs or sperm and or are infertile. So always wrap it up if you don't want any kids.

With a condom you should be okay, but avoid days 10-16 counting from the first day of her last period to be super safe.
