i was using disk cleanup and it might have done something to my movie file, maybe it compressed it
it is only giving audio when i play it , not video

What happened is you may have deleted some essential codecs (software the decode audio/visual files) Try downloading this codec pack to see if fixes your problems...

U may have a codec problem. Burn the file on a Cd and play it on another computer. If it plays (applies if the proper codecs is installed) then is not yur movie file. u can download the Klite Codec pack for free on the web. To repair movie files, u can use windows movie maker. Laterz.

Open with windows media player and click on the restore button (square button next to the X) to make it full screen.

Try opening it with a different player, I know my WinAmp screws up like that all the time
