As a matter of fact (true story) just happened this afternoon! I had to call the police on this raccoon that was hanging out in our apartment parking lot. We tried scaring it away..everything before I called but nothing worked. Obviously he had something wrong with him. The police came out...told my husband to tell your wife to look away..he got a pole out..got it by the neck then took it around back of the garages. Next thing I heard was the police officers gun go off. I felt so bad for the thing..it just looked like it was sick and it was asking for help but I guess it might of had rabbies...so thats one way.

Sprinkle moth balls around the outer perimeter of your yard it will keep them out and if they are going somewhere like under your house sprinkle some there too.

We had a skunk that came around and that's what the trapper people told us to do before they put down traps and it worked. Good Luck!!!

Catch and release is not recommended by wildlife experts. Releasing an animal in another area can spread disease, or you may inadvertantly release it in an area that does not contain its food source, thereby starving the animal.

Get rid of the stuff they want.

Do they dig for grubs? Get your lawn treated.
Do they eat your plants? Move your garden (or "animal proof" it).

The Buddha teaches us that desire is the wellspring of all unhappiness. Remove (or make unavailable) that which the animals desire, and they will leave on their own.

Someone once told me to put like an owl statue or those round glass mirror looking balls that are usually on a base or pedestal.

a motion activated light, and a motion activated sprinkler. Get rid of yard insects, food, and standing water. Fences, fake predators with big eyes.

you can buy motion activated owls, that make authentic hooting sounds and move their heads when small animals activate the sensor..they will split once they hear and see that.
