Anti fungal creams treat fungi (funguses) yeast is a fungus. You probably have a topical yeast infection. Yeast infections are VERY common during pregnancy due to the changes in your hormone levels causing your body's ph to change slightly. Don't worry about it and use the cream as directed.

An antifungal cream is used to treat fungal infections. That means the rash you have is a fungus. Very common, probably nothing to become upset about. As far as being related to pregnancy or HIV, I am not sure. The HIV could potentially worsen it, and people DO get rashy when the are pregnant. More likely you got into something though, like athletes foot or something.

A fungus is a living thing that grows. Athlete's foot is one type of fungus that grows on people. All antifungal means is that the cream works to kill fungus. Whatever you have has nothing to do with your pregnancy or being HIV positive. I'm sorry you are HIV positive, and I hope you're one of the lucky moms that doesn't pass it to the kid you're carrying.

antifungal cream is for when you have a yeast infection or something of that nature. And on your first doctor visit they shouldve taken a blood test to determine whether you have something or not. If they did take a test then you should be expecting the results within a week. Good Luck!!!!

IT'S PROBABLY JUST A SIMPLE YEAST INFECTION. IVE BEEN GETTING THEM SINCE IVE BEEN PREGNANT AND IM GOING INTO MY 36TH WEEK. MOST LIKELY THATS WHAT THE CREAM IS FOR. USE AS DIRECTED BY YOUR DOCTOR AND YOU'LL DEFINITELY FEEL A LT BETTER.

that was something you should have discussed with your doctor. you should be aware of what you have and what he is treating you for.
