Until it is uncomfortable for you to do so. You can sleep in whatever position is comfortable to you and doesn't hurt. This is what my ob/gyn has told me.

I stop sleeping on my stomach at 16 weeks because I started to get big. It felt uncomfortable this is why I stopped. I am 31 weeks now and I sleep on either the right side or the left side, not on my back...

I remember specifically when I stopped sleeping on my stomach. One night I actually felt like I was sleeping on a tennis ball I was probably 3 months along. From that night forward I forced myself to sleep on my side. It was not easy. By the end of my pregnancy I had to sleep sitting straight up in bed, because otherwise I couldn't breath and my back hurt so much.

You can sleep on your stomach until you pop as long as your comfortable. The baby is completely protected in the womb and sleeping on your stomach will not hurt the baby.

Until it gets uncomfortable. The baby is very well protected, so sleeping on your belly for awhile won't hurt it.

I never really stopped. I always slept face down &, sort of on my side with my knee bent; supporting my body. I never really bulge out that much, it was a boy.
