My youngest daughter, Judy 34 years of age, mother of 2 young children battled breast cancer for 3 1/2 years. I put her words and experiences with the disease into a book. I want to sell many books so I can help get my 2 young grandchildren to college by the time they become of age. Anybody have any good ideas for me to promote Judy's book.

Thanks!

Im sorry I didn't mention the fact that Judy died February 2004. I have done the walk for cancer and I donate and I am contributing to rasing money to find a cure for this horrible disease. I have sent emails to Opera, to LifeTime. I have contacted the local papers. I guess they have too many to deal with.

If any would be interested-please check out the website: www.judycenname.com, or go to www.amazon.com under "Books"-type in
Judy's Fight by Ryan Crawford. Im not making this up. I want the world to know about my daughter's book.

Thank you all and God Bless you!

She can self-publish at http://www.lulu.com/ Check with local booksellers (especially small independents) and see if you can place a couple of copies there or have a signing. Also, if you got in touch with the local breast cancer organization, they may promote it for you. At least where I live, they are always having walks or marathons or some sort of fundraiser for breast cancer research. It's a very visible thing in this area.

She should start a blog and promote her book there. She can start a blog at blogspot.com, Typepad.com or Wordpress.org.

Wow, I would definitely go to the Breast Cancer walks and promote it there, there you will find alot of people who are fighting the cancer, recovering from treatments, and supporting people with it. I bet you could sell alot of books there. Good luck! God Bless your daughter!

seriously, do you have connections to big names.
I am trying to get my book on oprah ( no lie) and I will keep trying to get in contact with her.
just to to breast cancer rallies and such, do whatever it takes....
you just have to get out there and please
be creative....dont just go into the breast cancer realm.
