How many republican congressmen and women who signed that stupid contract for america in 1994....which actually meant, corrupt america.....who said they would only stay for 6 terms in congress and leave, are currently running for a 7th?

You are entitled to your opinion, even though it is way off base.. In case you have a bit of a lack of knowledge concerning what that congress did; try researching a few facts. They accomplished at least 6 of the 10 items they advanced.. and the country is far better off as a result.

Did you even read what it is? Probably not. Tell me where they say that. All I can find is what they said they would do.

SECOND, select a major, independent auditing firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of Congress for waste, fraud or abuse;

THIRD, cut the number of House committees, and cut committee staff by one-third;

FOURTH, limit the terms of all committee chairs;

FIFTH, ban the casting of proxy votes in committee;

SIXTH, require committee meetings to be open to the public;

SEVENTH, require a three-fifths majority vote to pass a tax increase;

EIGHTH, guarantee an honest accounting of our Federal Budget by implementing zero base-line budgeting.
