You can also go to the Gibson Research website and have it perform a system scan for you.

They have a number of useful utilities like Leaktest, as well.

Hi, Go to start-control panel-security center-windows firewall-exceptions. Ther you will find all open ports. There is where you can add ports as well. Go ahead, check it out. Bye

I have purchased software that shows opened and closed ports on my Windows XP Prof.

There is free software test that is run by "Sygate Firewall", it will scan your system and show you all your open and closed ports.

basically all u gotta do is go to the control panel, security center, firewall, exceptions and it will tell u what programs have ports open

from a sp1 laptop sort in the handle bar (SP2 desktops IP handle) to discover the IP handle click the lan icon in the activity bar and flow to help and discover it there. If it works map the hdd as a networkpersistent on your SP1 desktops.
