None of the morning papers in Boston, Washington, or New York had "Don't go into TALL buildings, don't go into FIVE-SIDED buildings, and don't get ON a passenger jet!", not for ANY of the signs.

If this were presented in a civil case, in a court of law, the preponderance of evidence would therefore indicate that the horoscope is a worthless fraud.

First of all, the Horoscopes we read in the papers are based only on Sun signs. They refer only to the Astrological sign position of your Sun on your birthday.

They are too general to be of any real use, and I would say, are published purely for entertainment purposes (this Answers section itself comes under 'Entertainment'!)

There are 10 main planets, a few more minor ones, 12 houses, several key calculated points, and......Arabic Parts and Fixed Stars, and etc, etc. (BTW, Spica is one of the Fixed Stars.) The Sun position, the Moon position and the Ascendant are the 3 most important considerations in any Chart.

Put them all together and you get millions of variables, each set of variables interpreted differently. That's what a Natal Chart is.

The NC needs to be drawn up for the exact Time and Place Of Birth. Without the TOB especially, you won't have an accurate analysis of a person's character and future life trends.

The NC can actually give indications of the likely period in the life in which death takes place, and the form of death (whether by old age, sickness or violence).

Many famous astrologers in the past were able to accurately predict their own time of death, such as Evangeline Adams and Grant Lewi. (Creepy, isn't it?) In fact, Grant Lewi never bought insurance until a year before he died.

The NCs of the 9/11 victims, if one could actually have access to them, would very probably show strong patterns of violent death around that year and month of their lives.

But there's no way the daily Horoscopes could have told anyone anything for that day.

As someone else posted, would you have believed the Horoscope for that day if it said something like "Keep well away from tall twin buildings today"? Or "Don't go to work today"? Or "Beware of air travel today"?

May God bless their souls and they rest in peace!

there wouldnt really be a majority of people with the same sun sign. amongst them.

yes i would agree the general sun sign astrology most of the magazines/newspapers use, is very vague and very innacurate. however, it barely scratches the surface of astrology. if you were to look at an actual horoscope for the WTC attack there are alot of variables that would have to be taken into consideration.

but you are right, in a court of law this would be thrown out because it could not be proved without a reasonable doubt. because there are no cold hard scientfic facts to prove this, nor is there any that disproove it.

Regardless of why you want this answer....I was suppose to transfer to the twin towers from beverly hills. Well I didnt. I am a Virgo and I will now take my 10 points thank you.
BTW I also saw this happen in real life. So let's just say I am stunned still and it will never leave me.

okay, let's suppose a horoscope did.....

would you have listened to it? Remember you need to be thinking like pre-9/11, not post-9/11... People I know don't take those things seriously.

They are so general anyway...
