The Wii will be online straight out of the box, and will be compliant with 802.11g connections, the Nintendo DS, and a wired ethernet connection.

As for the Opera browser, since it is 3rd party, it's up to Opera how much they charge Nintendo to put it on their systems, and how many points Nintendo will charge to cover it, (points have not been given a price plan yet).
The Opera browser has been given a release date of Q1-2007, (Janurary to March), though there is no information on whether the Wii Wand will be used, or whether a keyboard will be developed for it, it is said though, that it will support Java and JavaScript.

You may also be interested to know that Opera is releasing it's browser in Europe on October 6th for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite, (2 versions, due to the size of the GBA ports), priced at around £29.99, and will feature touch-controls on the lower screen, as well as options to alter the scale and panning of the image.
