yes, I had kidney stones and a kidney infection once. It caused bleeding and severe pain. There are many things that can cause bleeding from the uretha, and most, if not all require medical attention. See your doctor immediately to correct whatever is wrong.

You can bleed when you have a urinary tract infection, various vaginal infections or when you have your menses and it mixes with your urine when voiding.
If you have pain, itching, burning or the urge to go alot and then can't go much at all (or any combination of those things), you should see your doctor.

if this is happening to you.....go see a doc....it could be kidney stones and they are not very nice to pass.......could also be a urine infection....either way there is a problem and you should seed medical advice
