see a doctor - they can run tests to check if you are pregnant

Well are you under any stress thinking about this situation? Because stress can play a BIG part in a missed or late period. Although you very well can be pregnant, I would suggest you go get another pregnancy test but instead of a urine test try blood work, it is more accurate. Sperm can live inside you for up to 3-5 days, so it can very well happen. It is much too early for any other symptoms. But you do have a fiance, so don't fret you have a partner to help you through this incase you are pregnant. I had my daughter at 15, she is four now......the best thing that ever happened to me.

If your doctor did a urine test and it came back negative, then you 99% not pregnant. The period of time in each month that you could get pregnant is only around 72 hours. There are many reasons why you are late. Some women who don't consume sufficient calories will stop mensturating. Stress could also be a reason, or some people just have irregular cycles.

If your doctor has done a test and it says you are not pregnant I would trust that.
If you are still worried take another test.
But the birth control pill might have stopped it for a month. If you do not get it in October then go back to the doctors because the birth control pill might be too strong for you.
Worrying does not help so try to just do what you have to do and worry when you have proof.

it's possible that you are. the sperm do live for awhile. i would take another preg. test yourself. (you can buy them in the drugstore for about 5 to 10 dollars). just follow the directions included. they're pretty accurate. if it's negative then you probably aren't and if you do not want to be, then just start using protection from now on (you should probably use condoms instead of pills or other hormonal methods until you do have another period, just in case you are preg., so as to not harm the baby). if the test is neg. and you still dont start soon, just make an appt. with a GYN and they can further find out why.

Ok. usually when you take birth control pills your body changes, I mean with the period for some people, now usually when you are pregnant you start to feel it, you can tell that some thing is happening with your body, staring with your chest, your nipples start changing color and they hurt, if you touch them around them your can fell them kind of hard... i do not want to confuse you but read a book about the symptoms that a pregnant woman can have if they are pregnant.
good luck and kisses...

The best - and only advice that you should get is from your OB. Be smart and make an appointment. Even if a thousand medical doctors answered this questions - they would all state...

that no one on Yahoo Answers has ESP.

Or, you could research the last thousand times that this question was asked. And see, that not only will you never get the same answer...

but the only answer that will be repeatedly told to you is to call and make an appointment with your OB/GYN.

Well, the Dr should have done a blood test on you before putting you on the pill since the test date was so close to you past period date. But, you won't get your period until you are on the placebo's or darn near close to them.

Urine tests are pretty good, but if you still have concerns, especially if you are on the pill now, ask your doctor for a blood test.

Best of luck!

Buy yourself a home pregnancy test, just to double check. See how that goes.

Good luck, and congrats if it tests positive
