Not seeing my 6 month old grow up. She is without a mother already, so I must be strong for her as she is all I have that matters. Just don't tell that to the Sgt.

I'm to young to have kids so i have no perspevtive on that one but what scares me most is a senerio like the one in the book 1984 by george orwell. (if you havent read that book do so)
A totaliterian socity that is imprisend irifutibly by a government such as that.
After reading several works I am now convinced that the only way that a system such as that could come about is through perpetual war polotics.
some perspective:
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Göring during the Nuremberg Trials.
in a situation such as the one above and what is currently happening in the USA, (which was succesfuly carried out by the Nazis i might add) people are asked to give up liberties for protection and the government becomes desturtive.
that is my greatest fear

That how in the free world the American influence has been eroded steadily starting with President Johnson till now if you draw a graph it was more like a straight line steadily going down the slope up till year 2000 but after that it took a real sharp dip up till now.and if you draw the graph of Bush family you will see that steadily they accumulated the power in a line but after 2000 the line is almost gone up to the top.same graph you will see for the Military Industrial power. These people as a whole have accumulated a lot of power and money. And with their arrogance they can create a lot of trouble.Which will be very bad for United states in the long run.

That so many people in this country (and others for that matter) have no clue to what is actually going on in the Mid East.. Such ignorance could get me and mine killed.
Eric is a perfect example of why I'm scared.... willful ignorance and stupidity are going to be the end of this great nation.

How the scales of my deeds on earth will balance out in the final judgment and the ultimate power of God.
Right now the impending nuclear war is pretty scary too though. Are you prepared?

The loss of a loved one through a tragic death and knowing that its all too late for me to do something about it. I simply want the best for all those close to my heart.

Okay, I'll be nice.
Just like most good parents, I worry most about my son. What kind of world he's growing up in. Why people seem willing to sacrifice our children's innocence for their sexual gratification and/or fattening their wallets. I worry about the debt his generation will carry because of the selfishness of ours... I worry about whether there will be a future for these children if we don't end up winners in Iraq... I worry about whether he will still be free to worship or not, as he pleases... I worry about what kind of consequences he will face for the choices he makes...
