Yes, yes and YES! So worth the money. I always have a weird work schedule and almost always miss my favorite shows. Now I can record a ton of movies and tv shows then watch them whenever I have time. Plus I can fast forward through the commercials, and pause live tv in case nature calls. It took just a day or two to completely understand the features, but its a snap now. So yeah, it's great and I love it!

We love our DVR, it is so helpful if you are not home and have a program you really want to watch, or if you just like a show and want a recording, and you can set series recordings, and set recordings up to a week in advance so you don't forget, so yes I think it is worth the extra money.

DVR is the greatest! It is totally worth the extra money. I never have any time during the week to watch primetime television so I just record it and watch it on the weekend!!! I don't know what i'd do without it(ok i probably could live without it but you know what i mean)

I have one through the cable company. I don't know how I could live without it. I never miss shows anymore and you can watch another show while you tape one. I would say it is only worth it if you really like to watch TV and you can never find enough time to watch all the shows you want. I originally got the DVR because it also the cable box you need for HDTV. Now I can't imagine being without it.

I especially like the ability to pause and rewind live TV.

Yes, I do. I bought a DVR / VCR combination unit, because I wanted to be able to use it in conjunction with my video editing computer.

I also have my camcorder(s) hooked up to my video editing computer, so I transfer the movies from the camera(s) into the computer and edit them. Then, I make either make a DVD on my computer or make a VHS tape.

I also using the DVR / VCR to make DVDs from my old personal VHS tapes.

Yes, I LOVE my DVR...I get to see shows that air while I'm at work or busy with other things.

It isn't that expensive so it's worth the money.

Have had a TiVo for 2.5 years and just got another DVR for my bedroom. The only way to watch what you want, when you want!
