I love the NBC version. It is hilarious! I bought the first 2 seasons as soon as they came out on DVD and have watched them about 5 times already.
The season premier last week about killed me I was laughing so hard.
I am glad they didn't put Jim and Pam together. I was afraid they were going to rush and put them together. I think that the tension of their not being together was much funnier than what it could be if they were together. And with Roy's picture from his DUI that was just the icing on the cake.
It is definitely my favorite show on TV and deserved it's Emmy award for best comedy!
Great cast, great scripts, what more can you ask for. I can see this one lasting a long time. I sure hope it does at least.
I tried watching the British version a few times but have too much of a hard time understanding what they are saying.

I really liked the original British version, and couldn't imagine that an American network could possibly re-make it into anything even remotely passable. Turns out I was wrong. It's one of the few good things on tv anymore.
