please give me advice?

I am meeting a friend in Las Vegas tomorrow evening, but my flight gets in at 10:00 A.M. I don't know anyone in Vegas. What should I do?

You know your friend, don't you? Vegas is very safe so long as you stay out on the sidewalks or in the Casinos. Do not wander off into unpopulated areas. I just got back from Vegas and it has become very crowded, take a cab wherever you go, unless it's whithin walking distance. Your best bet is to visit, and stay, at the South end of the strip where the newer Casinos are located. Relax and have a good visit. Hope you win, if you gamble. Play the 25 cent slots. Can be lots of fun and not spend a lot of money. A must see is the "Blue Man Group" at the Luxor. Good show with lots of audience participation.

First of all, are you staying there, or flying back that same evening? If you are staying in Vegas is it with a friend, or at a hotel?
if you are staying at a hotel, call that hotel from the airport and get shuttled over to your place to drop your bags off, if you are not staying at a hotel still call the hotel from the airport shuttle area and say you are staying there to get a free ride to the strip where there is a ton of fun to be had.
From there you can:
Play the slots, see a vegas show, eat at your choice of resturants, go shopping, and of course order a strong drink and walk the strip because it's the only place in the nation that lets you have a open beverage on the strip!
Honestly by the time that you get off the flight, find your bags if you have any, wait for the shuttle, get the the strip, maybe grab a bite to eat at a nice little vegas resturant, you'll be suprised how fast time flys by.
Also ask the shuttle driver what there is to do in the daytime. They get asked that all the time.

You're going to Sin City,USA and nothing comes to your imagination? Well...good for you.

Depending on your age (I assume that you are 21 or older) there are plenty of shows (even in the morning) to see...check off the main strip for the less expensive shows) or for a little juvenile fun you can go to Circus Circus and go to the indoor big top. Kill some time and have one off the inexpensive 7 course meals available all over town. I don't know what they cost now but when I went there years ago lobster, prime rib, etc. started at $7.99. But I know that isn't the case now.

You can always do the "go to the movies to kill some time" routine especially if there is a film you want to see. There are also attractions like Treasure Island pirate show, the Star Trek exhibit (can't recall where) and I imagine many more..just check the LV Chamber of Commerce or Convention Bureau websites.

And off course the obvious...go gamble, slam down some drinks...please wait until after noon?..go to the topless bars...or just go watch TV in your hotel room. I don't mean to imply that you drink, go to nudie bars or such.

What ever you decide to do...just have some fun.

It depends where you are meeting your friend.
If your friend is meeting you at the airport, there are a lot of slot machines right there.
A cab from airport to the middle of the strip is less than 20.00 Once on the strip, you can keep busy all day...no problem....and you don't even have to spend a nickel. Enjoy Las Vegas.
We go every year, and look forward to it every time....going Oct 22 for a week.

You can't check in till later so just check in your bags and hit the strip, I recommend going to eat at the Excalibur buffet it's great.
