I'm really embarrassed about my little problem and would really appreciate anyone's advice. I have a low self esteem because I am hairy. Not really hairy but enough to make me very self concious when I'd rather not be. I'm very fair with dark hair and not just on my head! my belly is my main concern. Around the belly button and up towards my breast and down towards my privates. My boyfriend jokes about my hairyness but it still up sets me. I've only just accepted my size because I realised I just need to tone up a bit. I've also always loved my back however my boy pointed out to me that there is hair there too! It's all fine hair but since I'm fair and have lots of I really need some help. I'm not prepared to wax because there's too much body area with hair and I'm not shaving or else I'll be prickly. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!! No one in my family understands how I can't just stop being self concious of it straight away, right now.

Try a hair removal cream like Nair. They also make a moisturizer to use after the removal that helps minimize. Hope this helps:)

My daughter has the same issue. You're right, waxing is not a good idea. You could take up swimming. My daughter swam all through high school and the chlorine bleached out all of her hair (except legs and pubic hair, and the hair on her head which was covered with the cap.) There are also bleaching agents you can buy at the drug store that work quite well for about 2 weeks at a time. You could also consider laser hair removal, but we're talking hundreds or thousands of dollars for a permanent solution.

The most important thing you can do is understand that most white women in the world have the same issue you have. This is your real life body, and you shouldn't have to do extreme things to make yourself feel normal, because you already are normal. Only descendants of northern europeans have light body hair. I wouldn't put up with a boyfriend who was intolerant and annoying about this issue. It sounds like your boyfriend is not hostile about it, but is still annoying to you. He needs to accept you as you are, or you need to move on.

It would feel terrible to be teased about something that you can't change so easily. Tell your man he's hurting your feeling he doesn't know till you say. also using chemical treatments like Nair is dangerous for long term use all those chemicals absorb into your body! waxing is the cheapest way just get the most embrassing parts done and hide the rest with clothing, Your live with what youv'e been given at least your alive heathy and got a man baby!

If you can afford it laser treatments work. My best friend is italian and had a similar problem. She got laser treatments and loved the results. They do cost a couple of thousand though. She used bleach on her arms where she used to have a lot of dark hair and that helped her too. She used a bleaching product she bought @ Walmart or drugstore or whatever. It is made especially for body hair and she noticed that using it regularly made the hair finer as well as lighter.

You can try a product like nair, but being fair skinned, you might get a reaction from it. My best advice would be to darken your skin. that would be the easiest solution. as your skin darkens (tanning salon would be my choice) the hair will become much less noticable. I know this because I have the opposite problem. when I tan, my light hair becomes VERY noticable as it is light blonde. At a tanning salon you will be able to slowly get a tan to your skin, avoiding the burn from the sun that happens with fair skin. Alot of tanning salons also now offer airbrushed tans, where they spray a bronzer on you with an airbrush.

first of all, u gotta know what's the cause og this problem..

do some hormone tests .. cause sometimes hormones imbalance can cause such problem as u have mentioned ..

and then after u check, either u go for a treatment if theres something wrong .. or if everything is just ok, then if u can afford it, u can go for laser .. but 1st u gotta ask ur doc, cuz sometimes laser might increase the hair growth instead of reducing it ..

good luck :)

Save up the real $$$$. It will cost you. Unfortunately so, the only go for you is: LASER. Check out web sights for your unfortunate problem.
