A piece of buttered toast will always fall from the table onto the floor, buttered side down. Why have I never had a piece of toast fall from my table.?

I think the saying goes "the chances of a piece of toast landing buttered side down are directly proportionate to the cost of the carpet"
Maybe you had a wooden floor.....

You should loosen up a little bit. What effect would a piece of toast falling on the floor have on the distribution of sub atomic particles in the outer galaxies? Answer that one.

You neglected to add that it only falls buttered side up when one is trying to prove the theory that it always falls buttered side down!
Perhaps you don't eat toast?
