Do you have a school nurse you can talk to, or maybe a teacher? You do need to have yourself checked.

Ok, first, calm down. You have just started having periods, and this is a time when they are VERY irregular. One period may be only for a day or so, the other for a couple weeks. As long as you are not bleeding heavily, and let me clarify this: by heavily I mean saturating several pads an hour. If this isn't the case then bear with it. It will end. And as you mature you will become a lot more regular.
I will say here that I hope you aren't sexually active. If you are then please go to see a doctor, or a family planning clinic and get checked out. This could be nothing or it could be serious.
Hang in there.

Hey im 15 right now an i just lost my mom about 7 months ago went i was 14 thankfully i had my period a month before my mom died so she explained to me waht to do. My advice would be to ask someone you really trust such as ur mom sister one of ur moms friend make sure it's a woman u can trust and a person ur parents would trust. I'm bloating right now im supose to get my period in about 10 days my period is pretty irregular so i wouldn't really worry some times my lasts for 5 days then 3 sometime 6 so i wouldn;t worry but if u are then u should talk to ur doctor or one of those ppl i told u to so good luck

I suggest a school nurse, guidance concealer, favorite teacher.
Or do you have an Aunt or Grandmother?
There are also planned parenthood clinics, I don't really like that idea, but because you do not seem to have many options well...They are staffed with qualified nurses and Dr.s
I guess I would start in the front of the phone book, then go to, Health care section.
At least if you have some money, get some iron pills and vitamin B+B 12 drops or pills and start taking them to build up your blood before you get a little anemic.

Honey, thats terrible. It does not seem normal, but then again i am not a doctor. Maybe talk to your friends parents? Explain to them exactly what you wrote in the question and im sure that they would be happy to help you. We all need help from others once in a while. I understand your situation when you say you can't go to the doctor, you are too young even. I know this is silly but maybe even your next door neighbour or someone in your street that you are friendly with? Maybe they could help. You cannot keep going and not telling anyone about this.
Good Luck!

First of all your father needs to grow up. I'm hoping you took care of your sister and got her that bra. I'm also very sorry for your loss.
Now onto your question, try the school nurse, aunt, or grandma. You can also go to planned parenthood. Talk to your friends and see if they've ever experienced anything like this and if they did then what did they do in that situation. Please take someone's suggestion becasue this could turn out to be something very serious. If you don't like any of these ideas try googling abnormal periods, or very long periods. Or ask Iris on Beinggirl.com. Good luck, hun.

Dont worry about a thing., i've been there and done that.
your period just hasnt regulated yet. thats all. it takes time for it to regularate and come at a regular time each month and for it to only last a few days. so time is the only answer, unless you want to get on birth control. which in your case doesnt sound like an opition. but anyway dont worry about it. ive been there. its ok. and theres nothing wrong with u. and u cant lose too much blood from a period. the idiots who told u that are on crack.

o.k. I know that it may be hard to talk to your dad and that Dr. So please try to find some one that you can ask about your long periods. Go to the school nurse and he/she can help talk to your dad. Your question reminded me of the time my sister had a period that wouldn't stop. She kept quiet for almost to long, we had no idea that she was bleeding to death. She thought it was getting better when the bleeding lightened up but in fact there wasn't much blood left in her body. She spent nearly a month in the hospital. That said...this was a very rare and extreme condition, so don't freak out ! But if no one knows there is a problem no one can help with the solution. Prove to your self that your important by taking care of you, even if it is embarrassing.

You need to see a doctor. If you won't go to one because of fear from your father, than go to a local Planned Parenthood. They can help you. It is very important to be seen by a doctor. Don't let this go. Talk to a friends mother or someone you feel close to that you can confide in. Maybe a school nurse. Just make sure you see a doctor soon. Wish you luck

You may be irregular so your period will last long periods of time and will come more than once a month, or you may skip a month or longer. I would advise you to tell your dad about this problem so he can take you to the doctor to make sure it is nothing serious. Your doctor can give you better recommendations on what to do. :)

You are right. Your period really shouldn't last that long. I can understand your frustrastion with talking to your dad. I am 30 years old and still cannot talk to either one of my parents...bu that is another story. Anyhow...you should go to the local family planning office. I went to my local one when I was in high school. Most generally, you can go in and talk about birth control, sex, your period, whatever to someone who can help you understand things. Alot of the times it s free and confidential, so you wouldnt have to worry about your dad knowing anything.
Hope this helps. Good luck to you.
