I posted this question a couple of days ago but still require more help?We have been happily married for 6 years ,we have 2 young children.Because of the children we decided to have a code word if we wanted to have some adult fun,the code word was "washing machine".Last night in bed i snuggled close to my wife and whispered "washing machine" into her ear,she said not tonight so i turned my back on her(as all men do) in a huff, but 5 mins later she must have felt bad cause of all my huffing and puffing and whispered "washing machine" into my ear.I turned round to face her and said "its ok dear it was a small load and i done it by hand".....she hasn't spoken to me since. What did i do wrong and why is she upset?

that is hilarious i had to get off the computer to go and tell my husband !!!!!! but to help you a little just apologize for being insensitive you made it sound like you just wanted to orgasm and it wasn't about you two being together you made her feel used and for that reason you should really apologize and ask her to tell you how that made her feel really listen and let her know you love her and you enjoying making love too her and that it is not just for your enjoyment and once you have done all that show her !

I'm sorry but this is funny but cute...........I wouldn't use the code word washing machine again. I'm guessing as would I, she's a little upset {foolish} and disappointed that her husband would do a "small load" without waiting for a full load...you should of considered pre-treating before starting a load.

Have you tried making it up to her without being a smart @$#. Lots and lots of her favorite flowers, making dinner, and most important no more self loading...

Don't worry she'll get over it, give her time and space, she's feeling hurt.

Man you have created your self a doozy of a problem never get huffy when your wife says no they don't have the wants for sex the same as us males do so when you are in the mood try a little romance I know this is said a lot but it really does work women need to feel loved and secure and if you can provide this your partner will be a lot more receptive to you, admit it dude WASHING MACHINE? just isn't a romantic mood creator is it try cooking a nice meal and leaving little notes on her pillow expressing your true feelings of love even try creating a message trail my wife loves these sort of little games and it has kept the romantic spark in our life for quite some time now,
good luck man hope this helps.

LMAO! Oh man that was a great *** back...I mean Come back lol. However me thinks your wit has got you in a wittle bit of trouble. Let her know you were just joking around an your sorry if you upset her. Tell her you would gladly let her do your wash anytime she wants hehehhe....Oh maybe don't say that lol. She is probably just upset because she wanted to do the washing and you well...you know.
Best of luck and don't forget to use a fabric softener hehehehe. Oh I love this one *still LMAO*

some women get insulted when "men wash their load by hand", I don't know why, but women are touchy sometimes. Or she might be upset that YOU turned HER down. Look, the only thing you can do is apologize or while you're alone, sneak behind her, tell her how SEXY she is, how much you want her and how you want her to rock you world, or just whisper in her ear, "baby, I want to make sweet love to you!" That should work.

I don't know...see I don't mind my husband washing the load by himself as long as I can watch ;-) But it bothers me if he does it alone without me. I am a very sexual person and in my mind there's really no reason for him to have to do it alone. We also have 2 small children at home so sometimes there's really no time. But I don't know why your wife would be upset I mean you asked her first and she turned you down.....

The sulking wasn't cool -- shows immaturity on your part...... And she simply responded to your code -- would assume a "no", is just as acceptable as a yes.... A marriage isn't sex on demand -- an implied "later" should be okay... (that's what "no" means, it doesn't mean never.....) So, yes, she has a right to be smoked at your sulking, and insulted at your "okay for you" attitude..... babyish on your part, funny, but alas, babyish, sorry.....

How about doing something nice and unexpected for her, like flowers and dinner?

By the way, she should have at least quipped back, "It's always a small load".

Maybe she felt you were being insenitive to her feeling since you acted the way you did. This was her way of getting you back. Hopefully you two can overcome these things in the future. Maybe being more tuned to each other feelings will help.
