I know I do! Nowadays it is so hard to find a "true friends" I am having bad luck.. I just want someone who is down to earth, caring, and very considerate. Why can't I find that person! I am 23 years old and longing for a female friend! I wish I can find that friendship that will last, I know oneday God will bless me with one! Its so hard for patience! Is there anyone who feels the same way?

I had a very good friend at one time that I considered to be my brother more than my actual 2 brothers and I meet this girl who he felt for whatever reason would take me down the "path of destruction" and immorality. After that he backed off of our friendship and since then I don't have a person that I would truly call a friend. I'm a person that does not use the word friend loosely I take it very seriously. I've just gotten to a point that I cannot get myself to trust anyone enough to call him or her a friend. In this world we live in I sucks not to have a true friend..

I feel exactly the same way. people just dont seem to open up very easily or something. I havent had a "best friend" since I was in highscool. I ended up with different friends for different areas of my life, and I'm sure that that is normal and perfectly okay, but i definitely miss having ONE person who you are so similar to that you can do EVERYTHING together and talk about everything with. I have been looking for a female friend like that for years now, and i havent found one yet. I miss the companionship. LOL we should talk - Im 22 from NH... how about you?

Every time I make a friend with someone,
some drama always has to go down.
I wish friendship would mean more than just a high-school type of drama.
